After leaving motorway follow signs for Huddersfield and then turn right at
the ring road traffic lights.
Follow ring road until you see signs for SHEFFIELD A616.
Keep on A616 for approx 5 or 6 miles. You will pass through Lockwood, Berry Brow and then Honley.
At Honley you will filter right at traffic lights (large petrol station on your right)
Go Straight on at the next set of lights
Follow the road straight through to HOLMFIRTH
Spot the fire station on the left and turn right opposite the postcard pub.
The car park is to the rear of the building up a steep hill. There is a turning area at the far end of the car park and visitor parking spaces are near the carpark entrance.
Entrance to the office is via the central door at the front of the building.
Leave the motorway, turning left onto the A644 at the end of the slip road.
At the next roundabout turn right into the A62 towards Huddersfield. Follow
this road to the Huddersfield ring road.
Turn left onto the ring road and then at the next roundabout turn right, staying on the ring road. Pass the university and be in the absolute left lane when it widens to five lanes. Follow signs for Holme Valley and Holmfirth

on this road through Scissett, Denby Dale and Upper Cumberworth to junction
with A629 - approx 8 miles. You will be opposite The Sovereign pub with modern
service station on your right.
You need to turn right then immediate left onto A635. Follow this road into New Mill at the bottom of the hill.
Go straight across at the junction and follow the road straight through to HOLMFIRTH.
At the traffic lights in Holmfirth, turn right.

From the end of the M67 take the second exit at the roundabout onto the A628.
Go straight on at the traffic lights in Mottram-in-Longdendale and then down
the dual carriageway. At the bottom of hill be in the left lane - Gun Inn on
the far side of junction on the left.
Carry straight on through Hollinsworth and Tintwistle.
In good weather: turn left at the A6024, signed Holmfirth. Past the mast at the top of the hill and down to Holmfirth. At the traffic lights go straight through. After the pelican crossing we are the first left turn opposite the Postcard pub.
In bad weather (including low cloud): Keep on A628, ignoring A6024, signed Holmfirth, until you reach the roundabout with the A616. Turn left onto A616, going straight over mini roundabout. After going under the transpenine trail bridge turn left up the B6106 which takes you past the windturbine into Holmfirth. At the junction turn left (almost straight on) over zebra crossing to the traffic lights. At the traffic lights turn right. We are the first left turn opposite the Postcard pub.
